Job Description

One of the UK’s fastest-growing operations is in need of a fantastic Content Writer. The business is growing rapidly and is therefore looking to expand its creative marketing team, especially with the impending launch of its first luxury retail store in June of this year. The role is paying up to £35,000 and will be based in their central London office 5 days a week initially. After probation, the role will go down to 2 days in the office and 3 days remote working.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Head of Content on the exciting challenge of creating compelling and engaging content across a number of different channels, including but not limited to blogs, articles, social media, website copy, marketing materials, and reports. You will also work with the wider marketing team, with top-line guidance from the Marketing Director. Whilst it would be really useful to have knowledge of luxury goods, it is not essential. We are looking for a really strong writer who loves research and is able to create content at pace.

  • 2 years of content writing experience, ideally in a digital marketing capacity within a commercial environment.
  • Degree educated in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a similar related discipline.
  • An understanding of SEO best practices for the content that you create.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in using CMS platforms such as WordPress would be beneficial.
  • Excellent research skills and an ability to make complicated information digestible to all.
  • An aptitude for understanding analytics to determine what content is doing well and how you can make progressive improvements.
  • Innovative and creative thinking with the ability to generate new ideas.
  • Good organisational and time management skills with multitasking ability, and skills to work to deadlines in a stressful environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in different scheduling scenarios and with new projects.
  • An interest in luxury goods, collectibles, and investment opportunities is an added advantage, but it is not necessary.

Pay: £20,000 – £35,000 per annum
