Career guides & job search strategy
Job search advice specific enough to actually use
Most career advice stops at “tailor your resume.” Jobularity publishes the next level down: the wording, the structure, the numbers, and the scripts — so you know exactly what to change before you hit send.
Start with the part of the search you’re stuck on
Every guide is built around one decision you have to make — what to put in a bullet point, what to say when they ask your salary expectations, what to do when the recruiter goes quiet.
01
Resumes & CVs
Formatting that survives applicant tracking systems, and bullet points that show impact instead of duties.
02Cover Letters
When a cover letter still changes the outcome, and how to open one without the usual filler.
03Interviews
Structured answers for behavioural questions, and what interviewers are actually scoring.
04Job Search
Running a search as a pipeline, searching while employed, and spotting job scams early.
05Salary & Negotiation
Researching real pay ranges, answering the expectations question, and negotiating an offer.
06Career Growth
Changing direction without starting over, 30-60-90 day plans, and getting promoted.
07Remote Work
Finding remote roles that are real, and standing out in a hiring process with no office visit.

What makes a Jobularity guide different
There is no shortage of career content that tells you to “quantify your achievements” and then moves on. That advice is correct and completely unusable, because the hard part was never knowing the rule — it was applying it to your own messy work history at 11pm the night before a deadline.
So our guides are written to be worked through, not skimmed. Where a rule exists, we show the before and after. Where a script helps, we write the script out in full. Where the honest answer is “it depends,” we say what it depends on instead of hedging.
- Worked examples, not just principles. Real bullet points rewritten line by line, with the reasoning shown.
- Scripts you can adapt. Full wording for salary questions, follow-ups, and resignation conversations.
- Clear on what we don’t know. Hiring varies by industry and country. We flag where our advice stops applying.
- No pay-to-play reviews. We don’t sell placements in our guides, and we don’t recommend a tool because someone paid us to.

The Jobularity job board
Alongside the guides, Jobularity runs a job board where employers can post openings directly and candidates can build a profile. It is newer than the guide library and we are adding to it deliberately rather than filling it with recycled listings.
